Hire a full-stack developer for whatever stack you are on
Most of the projects I take on already exist. Someone built a first version, maybe an agency, maybe a freelancer who moved on, maybe an AI tool, and now it needs one person who can hold the whole thing in their head. That is the job I am good at.
I don't have a favourite stack that I push on everyone. If your app is Next.js on Vercel with Supabase behind it, I work in that. If it is a ten-year-old Laravel monolith on a VPS, I work in that too. For a new build I will suggest something boring and well supported, and explain why on the call.
A normal week with me might be a slow query fixed on Monday, a new screen shipped on Tuesday and a failing deploy sorted on Wednesday. Having one person across all of it is what keeps a product moving, because nobody has to wait for "the backend guy".
Where I have done this before
I have been doing this since 2017, mostly for long-term clients. ShopGlu has worked with me since 2020. Along the way I have built video calling into products, connected two marketplaces through a Shopify app, and brought a 2003 billboard controller online.
Day to day that means Node.js, React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, TypeScript, Supabase, Postgres, MySQL and Laravel. If your stack is not on that list, ask anyway.

Which stack do you recommend?
Whatever your team can maintain after I leave. If there is no team yet, usually something boring and well documented.
Do you work hourly?
Yes, that is my default, with a short update every day I work. Fixed price works when the scope is clear and the project is big enough to do properly.
Do you do design?
I build clean, usable screens and I am comfortable working from Figma. For a brand or a full visual identity, hire a designer and I will happily build from what they make.
